I adore Oliver. He has a dirty job no one else wants. He does it well but as he said, people judge him. Ana is intriguing in that she kept fighting even though she was forced into the wolf world. I am confused on why she kept calling herself a mate. Even human women forced into abusive marriages do not consider themselves married in the eyes of the law. If she was Beth's mate he should not have been able to have children with others.Product details

Oliver is the pack fixer and when we’ve met him before he’s proven to be a man of action, very few words and a fiercely loyal pack member. The search for the vile Bert has finished and now the only thing left is to bring him in to justice. Oliver is heading up the operation, but in fact just about the entire pack is here. It has been reported that there are human women and their children at this compound – it will take their entire pack to make this work smoothly.
The last person Ana expected to be standing behind her was a thunderstruck stranger. A man who she’s instinctively drawn to trust, even when there shouldn’t be a shred of trust left in her. He says he is here to rescue her and the others and for some odd reason she believes him – anyone who can get her and her son, Josh away from this madman would be welcomed but this man seems like so much more
Oliver could not believe the sassy human was his mate, even in her captivity she was bold and unbowed. He could see the effort it took for her to trust him to get her to safety – and he had to admit his pride in his mate for the strength she showed over the next few hours.
Bert truly is a vile being. The harm he’s done to Ana and the other women almost draws Oliver over the edge into taking justice into his own hands. But taking Bert before the Council is the right thing to do and justice will be served – at his own hands if necessary.
It’s always a bittersweet moment when I come to the end of a series that I’ve enjoyed. Cherished brought such a satisfying period on this series for me. Ana and Oliver show that no matter how horrible a situation has become, with the right person fighting in your corner so much can be overcome, and a happy ending is possible. It brought a smile to me when this man of very few words became downright talkative around his Ana, the kindness and understanding he shows both his mate and her son is touching and a perfect way to bring this series to a close. The vile, bad man gets exactly what he deserves – and those he harmed have the chance to move on and rebuild their lives.
If you love Shifter Romance I hope you give the True Mates series a try – if you haven’t already. It is a series full of interesting people, amazingly strong couples and a good solid underlying story line through it all. This is a series that does need to be read in order from prequel through books 1-5. The story continues and is added to in each new story – with little to no backstory, so you really do need to go start to finish on this series. My opinion – and the author’s suggestion as well.
Oliver is a wolf shifter that thinks it will be just another mission but it is anything but typical. Usually, he is the calm, unemotional one that has no concerns about taking deadly action to perform his job. This time he is in emotional overdrive and he knows immediately that Ana, a human, is his mate. Ana has been terrorized for years by a shifter who claimed her as his mate and fears for her son. She wants him to be safe and free. She is not looking for a man but she feels drawn to Oliver too.
It is a fast moving story of two people that meet under horrible circumstances and work to make something beautiful out of it. Oliver has not had love in his life and as he watches the others find their mates, he does feel some loss. He is not sure that he wants a mate but he realizes that it is a very special relationship. Once he meets Ana, there is no longer a choice. He wants her and he will do what it takes to make her and her son safe and happy. Ana has had to deal with a man that terrorized her and kept her from her son. She has had to disconnect and now is forced to deal with so many new feelings. It is a very emotional story as they try to make peace with their pasts and create a new foundation based on love.
It is a great story for those who like paranormal romances. You don't have to have read the other stories to jump in and enjoy it. I look forward to reading more of the stories now that I have been introduced to the characters. They are well written with complex characters that capture your attention from the very beginning.

In the past 4 days I have read this entire series and loved it. Strong alpha men and women who are just as strong giving them a run for their money. The heartaches and love that bring all the couples together is awesome, and heartfelt. Shifters should truly exist and true mates as well. Everyone deserves to find the one person in this life that brings them the greatest love and joy possible. Awesome reads
Great book! Full of twists and turns! Ana is a prisoner that has been through the worst, Oliver is the fixer! Meeting Ana realizes that Oliver is just what she needs to fix all her problems and to fill what is missing! Oliver is the fixer of the Colstone pack and the pack council. What he doesn't realize in the middle of a mission is that he needs fixing too! An a good thing Ana is there to fill and fix what Oliver doesn't know needs fixing!
