Know-How experience, expertise and execution is a collection of the best advice from more than 30 leaders that are part of the Shields Meneley family. Covering insights into “Being the Best”, “Creating the Most Value”, and “Unleashing Potential”, this is a practical advice from successful men and women that have had exceptional careers, but aren’t Jack Welch or Bill Gates, and aren’t running Facebook or Google.
As such, this is “real world” wisdom that the rest of us can learn from and use.

Management books are everywhere these days, but this small and relatively short volume packs a lot of critical insight--largely because of the wide range of experienced professionals who have contributed to this work. My personal favorite is Ron Hodge's "EQ Trumps IQ" because it really focuses on the qualities of a true leader, and of the need to value people above all else--a critical message in a corporate world increasingly driven by up-to-the minute profitability numbers rather than the long haul of creating and nurturing a solid team that will truly deliver enduring results.Product details

KnowHow Experience Expertise Execution eBook Gail Meneley Dev Mukherjee Reviews
This book is recommended reading for graduate business students and business people early in their careers. I enjoyed learning the ideas and stories that developed from each executive's personal business experience. This highly-readable book will help people avoid mistakes and be more effective as their career's evolve.
This a fantastic book for anyone curious about improving their impact among organizations and for themselves. The book is organized into easily readable chapters/articles grouped into three topics Being the Best, Creating the Most Value and Unleashing Potential. Each article is written by a different author. They are real world leaders sharing their experience concisely and are not people trying to sell you on any idea. At the end of each article, the author also shares their suggestions for further reading to the topic. Great insights there alone. While every article won't be a hit with each reader, I am certain there is good value in here for anyone seeking to be better at their leadership craft. I will be sharing this book widely.
Well written and thoughtful pieces on a number of different topics by a collection of senior business leaders. I highly recommend this book.
Just ordered 50 more books and am very excited to have this book back on the shelves in our office.
A great read as well as something that will be a reference book for me as I navigate my career. Mukherjee and Meneley and the team at Shields Meneley Partners have brought together a team of blue-chip executives who share their learning and advice on numerous topics related to their careers. Well done!
Written for leaders, Know-How showcases experience from the trenches. A valuable resource for managing the complexities of the C-suite, this collection of insights provides a best-practice perspective on nearly every challenge faced in the business environment. Get a copy for your own professional library and another to share with a colleague.
A diverse collection of advice shared by individuals who have used the advice to enjoy successful careers. As noted elsewhere, terrific reading for someone early in their career. Could give them insights that typically are received only after years of experience. Which begs the question, are the insights so clear and helpful only to those with experience who can attest to the value of their guidance? Can someone early in their career see the value of these gems? I would like to read the perspective of an early career reader who is just developing their Know How.
